Jillian is the founder & Chef of Sabrosa Vegana, born and raised in the Lower East Side of New York City. At the age of 13yrs old she was diagnosed with rare benign tumors in her right leg forcing her to undergo multiple rounds of chemo and last radiation. This prompted her to finally go vegan in 2016 and create Sabrosa Vegana in 2017. Sabrosa Vegana's mission is to feed and educate communities in hopes of dispelling myths concerning what plant based food should taste like. Offering accessible vegan food inspired by her parents homeland of Panama and Puerto Rico. Sabrosa Vegana, hopes to bring awareness to the healing power and cultural connections through plant based foods.
